Foreplay

Foreplay means caressing and sexual touching that takes place before sexual intercourse. The body readies itself for sex during foreplay. The man’s penis becomes stiff (an erection) and the woman’s genitals swell up and release a fluid that prepares the vagina to receive the penis. It is particularly important for the woman to spend ample time in foreplay, so that her body is ready for intercourse. It can be frustrating to start foreplay and then stop it without going further. Heavy petting is a form of foreplay that makes the body ready for intercourse, so you should keep this till after the wedding. In addition to stopping in the middle of foreplay being frustrating, it can also be difficult not to progress to intercourse when the body is ready for it.
