Exhibitionism is an urge to show oneself and constantly be the centre of attention. The expression is often used of people who have a compulsion to expose their naked bodies or show their genitals to other people, in order to be sexually stimulated. This is also called indecent exposure, or flashing.
Indecent exposure, or exposing the genitals to strangers who don’t want to see them, is a punishable offence.
