Foreskin constriction

The foreskin of young boys is normally too tight (constricted) to be able to be pulled back, but as they approach puberty it usually gets bigger. If the foreskin is so tight that it is painful during an erection it can be treated with ointment or a minor operation. This condition is known as foreskin constriction or phimosis.
